The Visual Chronicle of Reality

Documentary photography is a form of photography aimed at capturing authentic moments and aspects of life. It documents reality as objectively as possible and often serves as a visual testimony to societal, historical, or cultural events. With its ability to tell stories and evoke emotions, it is both a powerful tool for reporting and a form of artistic expression.

Honesty and Authenticity

Documentary photography strives to depict reality unaltered. This means that scenes are not staged but captured exactly as they are.

Narrative Power

Every image tells a story. It is not just about depicting facts but also about conveying emotions, connections, and human experiences.

Long-Term Significance

Many documentary photographs are timeless, as they capture moments in history that remain relevant even years later.

Our Story

Still Life = The Art of Staging

Still life photography is one of the oldest and most versatile genres of photography. It is characterized by the deliberate staging of inanimate objects, which are brought to life through the use of light, composition, and perspective. Originally inspired by still life painting from the Renaissance, this photographic technique has earned its place in both the realm of art and commercial photography.

ICM Photography = The Art of Movement

ICM, short for “Intentional Camera Movement,” is a creative photography technique where deliberate camera movements during exposure are used to create abstract and artistic images. Instead of presenting a subject in sharp focus, this method produces blurred, flowing, and often painterly effects that offer a new perspective on the world.
